The Sparkler Filter Press is designed for precise filtration of pharmaceutical and chemical solutions. Its primary function is to separate impurities from liquid by passing it through a series of horizontal filter plates.
The unfiltered liquid enters the unit and is evenly distributed over the filter media on each plate. As pressure increases, impurities are retained on the surface of the filter media, while the filtered liquid (filtrate) passes through interlocking cups located at the center. The filtrate is then directed to the outlet, ensuring a clean and efficient filtration process.
This equipment is ideal for achieving clear solutions, consistent product quality, and optimal operational efficiency in critical production processes.
Working Principle
Unfiltered liquid enters the filter through a pump or feed system and flows to the top of the filter pads via side holes in the plates. It then passes through each pad and plate individually, where impurities are retained. The clear filtrate is collected at the center and discharged through the outlet.
